Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner brought their sisterly love and a few giggles to the Game of Thrones Season 8 premiere in Belfast today. Joining the rest of the cast on the red carpet, the onscreen siblings and real-life best friends posed together, holding hands and breaking out in laughter in front of cameras.
Williams, whose personal style is far different from that of her tomboyish character Arya, wore a custom bubblegum pink dress by Coach to the event. The sleeveless, feminine number was covered with metallic beads, which matched perfectly with her silver jewelry, sandals, and tiara-like headband.
Turner, on the other hand, went for a white Louis Vuitton dress (she’s an ambassador for the French fashion house) with metallic details hugging each of her flowing long sleeves; a far cry from her character Sansa’s corseted dresses. She went for diamond drop earrings to add some extra sparkle to her look.
The two smiled hand-in-hand and shared a few silly moments. The duo was just as cute on the red carpet of the Season 8 premiere in New York City. (Maisie literally jumped into Sophie’s arms.)
They also gave us an endearing Stark reunion, posing with co-stars Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark). The four onscreen relatives have not been all together under the same roof since Game of Thrones‘s first season, but that may soon change, as Jon is traveling to Winterfell with Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and her armies.
Perhaps we’ll finally see them all in the same scene when Game of Thrones returns this Sunday for its final season on HBO.
